At Stein Consulting and Coaching, we work with families in business to help make all the important decisions that need to be made for the business to thrive.  Running a family business is challenging but what is more challenging is keeping that business going in successive generations.  To create a business that will be a legacy, families need to plan ahead.  At Stein Consulting and Coaching, we devise strategies to create those plans, carefully considering the unique situation of each individual client.
 
Coaching
At Stein Consulting and Coaching, we focus on coaching entrepreneurs and people who are in family business. These two types of clients are very similar because work life does not have the defined boundaries of corporate life.  The job simply cannot stay at the office.
 
Family business coaching takes on several forms. Clients can be next generation leaders who need to gain the skills to run the company after a leadership transition.  Clients may also be CEOs who are set to retire and need to find a meaningful life after a long tenure at the helm of their company. Still other clients may be looking to have better communication patterns within the family office. Using coaching to work on these issues can be an excellent way to help a family business be more productive and successful.
 
Being an entrepreneur can be very challenging for many different reasons. People who work on their own very often have to rely on their own instincts for much of their decision-making.  Coaching helps the entrepreneur by acting as a sounding board for difficult issues. Coaching can also be an essential tool for developing skills that the client does readily possess. Coaching is also used to help the entrepreneur keep a proper balance between work life and leisure life.
